Albert Speer - Plans for Hitlers Volkshalle in New Berlin (Germania)
Truly beautiful - I’m torn by this. I would have loved to see such a structure completed; at 270 meters high you could fit the largest of great pyramids of Giza inside the momumental dome. I love Speers architectural visions but the moral foundations that they stand on were repulsive and the physical foundations would have been laid using slave labour.
